Well the January blues have well and truly set in, so here is some summer gorgeousness to help you through blue Monday with The Old Vicarage Wedding Photography.

Last August saw the beautiful summer wedding of Laura and Jon at the stunning Old Vicarage in Hinton, Christchurch, definitely one of my favourite Dorset and Hampshire wedding venues.

We started at Laura’s family home in Wimborne Dorset where preparations were well underway with the beautiful theme of teal and sunflowers beginning to unfold. It was an emotional morning with the odd damp eye it has to be said. I have known Laura all her adult life so it was very special to me to be there with her on the morning of her wedding while my able second photographer for the day Jerry was capturing some great shots of Jon and his family at their home in Ferndown.

We all arrived at The Old Vicarage in Hinton in good time despite it being Bournemouth Airshow weekend and the heartfelt ceremony began, it was truly beautiful with words read out by Laura’s young nephews, helped by their Mums. And it’s fair to say Jon was blown away by his beautiful bride.

After the ceremony at The Old Vicarage we took Laura and Jon off alone for a stroll around the amazing grounds, this really is a beautiful English Summer Garden at The Old Vicarage and Laura and Jon really made the most of their alone time, we got some great, natural photos of them which for them really captured their feelings on the day.

The rest of the wedding day followed on with ice cream from the ice cream bike and lawn games in the garden to the sound of a beautiful saxophone solo. Later on dinner was served in the marquee which had been beautifully dressed by Fundoo Weddings carrying on with the teal and sunflower theme.

Dinner was followed by some great speeches and dancing of course and the arrival of more excited guests.
