Newborn & Baby Photography Bournemouth

I have been doing baby photography with babies of all ages for a long time usually in their own homes but I have finally opened my very own home studio. I can now photograph babies from birth to crawling and beyond in a comfortable space with the right lighting and props, I can still however come to you if you prefer.

Newborn babies under 2 weeks old are usually very sleepy and quite happy to pose beautifully, blissfully unaware. I have a magical tip which is to use a hairdryer gently on baby which keeps them warm and they are instantly settled by the white noise. I have a selection of baskets and blankets and obviously the beautiful hats, can’t forget the hats. Baby is photographed naked which for a newborn baby is the most natural thing ever.

I allow up to 3-4 hours for a shoot so if you need to spend and hour feeding and settling baby you won’t feel rushed, you can just enjoy a cup of tea and a natter.

My usual price is £150 for the session with 10 edited high resolution photographs on a disc, however for November and December I am charging  a launch price of just £100 which is incredibly good value for money.

Bournemouth portrait Photography – Prom photographs

Whatever the occasion this summer albeit your prom, graduation or just your birthday why not capture those memories with your friends forever before you go your separate ways to college or Uni. For just £100 you can have an hour long location photo shoot and each receive a disc of photos  to keep, this special price is for groups of up to 10. I am happy to do more than 10 at an additional cost of £10 per person.

Your location portrait shoot can take place at the location of your choice, either before or en route to your prom dressed in all your finery.

or a more relaxed shoot on the beach.

Beach Weddings Bournemouth

The end of October saw the launch of beach Weddings Bournemouth, a very exiting new service allowing couples to legally marry on the beach for the first time in this country. The venue has been featured on ITVs Daybreak this week. 

The licence was finally approved for wedding ceremonys  to take place on Bournemouth beach, the first licensed beach venue in the UK. This is a really exiting new option for couples looking for something a little bit different and as a photographer I can’t wait, especially as I am one of the recommended photographers for the new venue.

The booking and planning of the weddings will be undertaken by “Beach Weddings Bournemouth” under the very cable Melanie Kiani from Bellissimo Weddings a very established local wedding planners.

Bournemouth Wedding Photography ~ Hallmark Hotel

Congratulations to Ricky and Jemma who got married at the Hallmark Hotel in Bournemouth on the 11th June . Here are some highlights of their wedding….enjoy!

Ricky and  Jemma  don’t come from this part of the world but decided quite rightly it would be a lovely place to get married so they shipped all their friends and family in from Daventry and  all over England to stay at the Hallmark Hotel and celebrate their wedding with them.

Happy Birthday Amy! It was Amy’s chosen birthday present from her mum to have a fun portrait shoot with a group of her friends.

We met at King’s park in Bournemouth and the girls braved the chilly wind and enjoyed the fun. Amy’s Mum came armed with balloons and bubbles and the fun began!
