Langtry Manor business mother of the year awards 2012

I am very honoured to have been nominated for The Langrty Manor Business mother of the year award sponsored by the Daily Echo. I was quite surprised to have been selected as a semi finalist from the 97 nominees. We had to do a one minute presentation to video about ourselves which was a little nerve wracking to say the least ( I do smile sometimes in real life I promise!!) The finalists will then be up for a public vote.

Their are some amazing mums out there working their socks off running their own business whilst juggling family life, many of whom are doing it single handed, hats off to you all. It means alot to me to be recognised for all my hard work and perhaps even to be an insppiration to someone somewhere that it is never too late in life to reinvent yourself and follow your dream. I couldn’t have done any of it with out my husband and amazing kids.

Dorset Wedding Photography ~ Langton Arms, Tarrant Monkton

Congratulations to Claire & Tom who got married at the Langton Arms on Saturday 28th May 2011

It was a beautiful wedding in the village of Tarrant Monkton in rural Dorset. Claire and her family hired the picturesque thatched cottage behind the village pub where they all got ready before walking to the village church. It was a beautiful service followed by a reception in the marquee attached to the Langton Arms just over the road from the church. The marquee was decorated with handmade bunting lovingly prepared by the brides Mum. The food served by the Langton Arms was fantastic ( recommend the Seabass!) The couple then danced the night away with all their friends following a set by Tom’s band. All in all a fabulous day for a lovely couple.

Isaac and his very proud parents having a fun family location portrait shoot in the grounds of Upton House in Poole. Apparently this was Isaac in a bad mood, bless his heart he was an Angel!

I’ve had a busy week doing some small commercial jobs for a couple of local new businesses and a local charity. I love doing commercial work but I am really looking forward to the wedding season which for me starts nextweekend at the lovely Old Thorns Manor Hotel in Liphook.
