Mother’s day is on the 18th March and what better way to show your Mum just how much you love her than providing her with beautiful photographs of her family with a family location portraits shoot for as little as £50 (see below).
I specialise in location portrait shoots which are great fun and produce lovely natural photographs a really great alternative to a studio.
Why not buy a gift voucher for a portrait shoot at a location of your choice which Mum can be a part of, alternatively have the shoot in secret and produce the photographs for her as her gift.
Here are some of my favourites from family portrait shoots last year.
Limited special offer -
For just £50 you can buy a voucher or book a 30 minute portrait shoot with a free 10×8″ print and online gallery to order further prints.
For £100 you have an hours portrait shoot with all your high resolution photographs on a disc (25+) with printing rights.
Give me a call to arrange your shoot at a location of your choice (15 mile radius of Ferndown) or purchase your voucher.

At the end of October was the launch of an exiting new option for Wedding venues in Bournemouth…..the beach!
The licence was finally approved for wedding ceremonys to take place on Bournemouth beach, the first licensed beach venue in the UK. This is a really exiting new option for couples looking for something a little bit different and as a photographer I can’t wait, especially as I am one of the recommended photographers for the new venue.
The booking and planning of the weddings will be undertaken by “Beach Weddings Bournemouth” under the very cable Melanie Kiani from Bellissimo Weddings a very established local wedding planners.
Melanie Kiani and her team from Beach Weddings Bournemouth in the “fixed structure” on the beach where the legal aspects of the ceremony are conducted.
The beautiful marquees can hold up to 400 guests.
Your imagination can run wild with themes for a beach wedding, this table was dressed by Coastal Creatives, another local supplier of beautiful beach themed decorations is Number 83.
“Where better to tie the knot than on a stunning golden beach with the sound of waves lapping in the background, a shimmering blue sea just steps away, and a happy gathering of friends and family poised to celebrate in style? Holding your wedding or event in this stunning location will give you the most stunning scenery for your photographs. You and your guests won’t have to travel more than a few steps to have the sea in your pictures. How about the view old Old Harry Rocks and the Purbecks in the background? What a truly unique opportunity to make your day the most special day it can be without having to travel abroad. Perfect.
Couples will be able to host up to 400 guests in a beautiful marquee, have the services of a registrar, choose their own music and enjoy champagne toasts and a superb wedding breakfast on one of the best-loved beaches in the country.”
Sounds perfect!!!

Congratulations to Gemma & David on a beautiful Christmas Wedding on the 23rd December. They choose to have a humanist ceremony at Horton Village Hall with a marquee attached. The whole wedding was very personal and unique and there were some lovely touches.
Gemma, her bridesmaids and her beloved Grandad (Paps) arrived in style on a steam engine, very fitting for such a lovely rural location even if it was a little chilly!
One of my favourite personal touches was the fact that Gemma and David had handmade each others wedding rings at an evening class.
The rings were then passed around all the guests through a length of ribbon to be blessed by everyone personally.
The group shots were fun as someone shouted “air guitar” and chaos descended.
Even the rain didn’t dampen spirits as we ventured outside for some shots alone.
Here are some of the highlights – take a look.

Congratulations to Kimberley and Craig on their Autumn wedding at the beautiful Christchurch Harbour Hotel.
Considering the wedding was at the end of October the weather was very kind, it was a really lovely day with a stunning theme of Fuchsia pink and black and as always the Christchurch Harbour pulled out all the stops to make sure the day ran smoothly.
Lovely group shot of all the guests.

Have a look at the slideshow below to see more highlights from the wedding.

Congratulations to Vicki & Stewart on their wedding on the 23rd September. It was a beautiful day at parley Manor, the sun shone following a period of early onset autumn.
A lovely couple with a really refreshing laid back, fun atmosphere to the whole day, everyone had a great time just as they hoped.
The runaway bridesmaid…little Megan couldn’t wait to get to Daddy.
Time alone in the stunning grounds, don’t mind me, lurking in the shrubbery.
The obligatory group shot from the roof where the photographer has to sign a disclaimer before entering the flat roof via a bedroom window! – worth it though, it’s great to have a position to be able take a shot of everyone.
The beautiful walled garden at Parley Manor
Vicky and Stewart – well Stewart anyway are huge Newcastle fans and this was reflected in their chosen theme which I think added a real personal touch and a sense of fun to an already beautiful day.
Big thankyou to Danika Westwood, my second camera for the day.
Here are a few more of my favourites from the day.
